Salty Saints

I was just reading these words of Jesus and it got me thinking:

“You are the salt of the earth, but if the salt has LOST ITS FLAVOUR, what will it be salted with? It is then good for nothing, but to be cast out and trodden under the feet of men.”

(Matthew 5:13)

It got me thinking about the state of the so-called “church”.

Why has corruption run rife? Why are godly principles trodden under foot by governments? Why is good being called evil and evil called good? Could it possibly be because the “church” has lost its flavour?
